SBIR ASSISTANCE

Let’s fund innovation!

UNT Health is proud to offer comprehensive support for small businesses seeking nondilutive federal funding through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs—collectively known as America’s Seed Fund. These early-stage funding opportunities are critical for companies developing innovative technologies and aiming to scale.

Our SBIR Assistance Program, powered by the NEXT team, is designed to guide businesses through the complex and competitive application process, helping them position their proposals for success. By partnering with UNT Health’s services, including access to cutting-edge research facilities, life science programs, and laboratory resources, companies can strengthen their proposals through strategic subcontracting opportunities and collaborative engagements that enhance technical credibility and innovation potential.
