Contracts are ubiquitous. Whether in writing on paper, in a text message or undertaken with just a handshake, contracts create rights and obligations that can dictate the course of a relationship…good or bad. So, what is a contract? How is it formed? What should be included or excluded? Should I have an attorney review it? How should I enforce it? The goal of this presentation is to give the layperson the confidence to understand, review and enter into contracts, and the knowledge to know when to seek assistance.
